The story:
In this long and dramatic story that heralds Rex' departure from the Deep Woods, the Phantom once again tells the story of how he found Rex (compare with the story in S068 Rex King) and promises to seek further help from the Mori tribe in uncovering what exactly happened on that fateful day 12 years ago.
This time the Mori suddenly remember more details, giving the Phantom his first real opportunity in years to discover the truth. Soon, a string of clues come to light pointing the way towards a remarkable conclusion to a 12 year old mystery...
