Bored with reading endless reports in her new U.N. post, Diana convinces her superiors to include her in a risky fact-finding team bound for Tarakimo to inspect alleged human abuses and torture in the country's prisons.

After receiving a note from his bride-to-be (see D133 The Proposal) detailing the mission, the Phantom decides to surprise Diana by turning up in Tarakimo. However, when he arrives, Diana is imprisoned for ???spreading lies?? about the country and faces torture...
