Phantom
The story:
Out walking the roads in the middle of the night, the Phantom comes across a little girl who calls herself "Princess Valerie" and says she "came out of the sky in a big aeroplane".

Taking Valerie to Diana's house, the Phantom later thwarts a kidnapping attempt but learns that the princess is wanted by her ailing grandfather, the Rajah of Volara. A doubtful Phantom agrees to release the girl, but later learns that she has died in a plane crash. All leads point to Volara...
