Retracing his ancestors' steps to the high seas, the Phantom tries to come to terms with his unimaginable loss (see D227 Revenge of the Python) by signing on as crewman on a luxury ship, but trouble is never far away.

Thwarting a kidnapping attempt by modern day pirates, Kit decides to escape the attention of the authorities by commandeering the pirates' speedboat, but is soon surrounded by heavy naval gunfire forcing him straight into the firm embrace of a recent acquaintance (see D225 Crocco Island West )...
