The story:
Connie Moore and Captain Mike Strong are about to get married in Bengali when Mike receives a mysterious golden feather in an envelope. Shortly thereafter Mike disappears, leaving Connie to wait in vain at the altar. Having no one to turn to in a strange country, Connie is guided to seek the Phantom's help in the jungle.
Having traced the feather to the garden of the barbaric Queen Asta of Trondelay in the Misty Mountains, the Phantom must uncover the truth about Asta and Mike, and also save Mike, Connie and himself from a cruel fate in Asta's ancient arena...
