Phantom
The story:
A UN medical team including Diana and Dr. Luaga (see D083 The Epidemic) is caught up in a brewing conflict when Dr. Luaga is surprisingly elected premier of Bengali and General Bababu's troops revolt against the free election. Civil war erupts and spreads into the jungle with devastating consequences.

In this milestone adventure in which author Lee Falk anchors the modern Bengali on an African continent distancing itself from colonial rule, the Phantom must fight against impossible odds as he tries to shield the democratically chosen president from Bababu's 200,000 strong army, guide the UN medical team through a war-ravaged jungle and somehow reverse Bababu's illegal coup in the capital...
