In an effort to stop the constant conflicts between the Llongo and Wambesi tribes, our Phantom's father arranges a betrothal between the 5 year olds Prince Lloni and Princess Wamba.

Later, in our Phantom's time, a now reluctant Lloni is finally summoned back to the jungle to marry Wamba despite being deeply in love with the beautiful nightclub singer Exota, leaving the Phantom deeply divided between honouring his father's decree and answering the demands of a modern world...
