After the conclusion of the lost commissioner's badge case (see D139 Jungle City), the Phantom is about to return to the Deep Woods when Diana has a big announcement to make that will transform the lives of the newly weds and also the comic's entire narrative: the next successor to the Skull Throne is on his/her way.

As an elated father-to-be returns to Bangalla, Diana starts preparing for a long maternity leave and natural childbirth in the Skull Cave. It is not long before she arrives at the Phantom-Head expecting to be met by her husband, but instead she faces serious danger...
