Diana is asked to accompany Ambassador Cari on a U.N. mission to an epidemic-stricken Ivory-Lana. Diana delightfully accepts the mission despite its risks, and alerts the Phantom that she will soon be in the 'neighbourhood'.

Unknown to everybody else, the terrorist group ???T?? plans to kidnap the pair and use them as bargaining chips to affect the release of General Asolana, the man who tried to assassinate Ivory-Lana President Goranda during the latter's inauguration (see D127 T).
