A number of travellers have been attacked and robbed on a remote jungle trail. Masquerading as a traveller himself, the Phantom soon learns that the robberies are carried out by a mysterious girl called Dara who keeps a lion as a pet and lives in the wild with a man called Jerry.

The Phantom's arrival and capture triggers a triangle drama that becomes much more complicated with Diana becoming Dara's next victim and jealous minds entertaining thoughts of outright murder...
