Phantom
The story:
A plane carrying Diana Palmer and her pilot goes down in The Central American jungles. They survive, but fall victim to a mysterious trapdoor in a nearby temple ruin.

Having traced Diana to the jungle ruins, the Phantom must throw all caution to the wind and brave the trapdoor, despite the local population's warnings that an ancient beast in chains awaits below. The Phantom is totally unprepared for what he will find in the underground and what it will take to rescue a whole continent from impending disaster.
