The story:
An empty container in the large treasure room prompts the Phantom to read the chronicle story about the dramatic theft of the black Emperor Joomkar's crown from the Skull Cave 200 years ago.

Believing the invaluable exhibit gone forever, the Phantom is later baffled to hear that the crown is currently on display in a New York museum. A long and perilous search for the current 'owner' and the answer to a 200 year old mystery ensues...
