The story:
When Diana's uncle Dave comes out of retirement to run as Mayor on an anti-crime ticket, a decision is taken by the targeted crime syndicate to put up their own candidate: the boss of bosses himself, Mr. Big.

As the temperature rises steadily in the mayoral race, Diana and the kids become targets for the ruthless gangsters, and with the Phantom still many miles away, the twins are kidnapped and held as bargaining chips with little hope of being released alive...
