The story:
(This story should be read in conjunction with S022 Fathers and Sons.)

An unusual case begins for the Phantom when Dave Palmer discovers a skull mark on an old man's face during a sea voyage. It soon transpires that the man has had the mark for forty years and that it thus cannot be the current Phantom that is responsible for its appearance.

Soon a bemused Phantom is hot on the trail of the man and his son, and it soon becomes apparent that the old man is Killer Styx, a criminal that was put behind bars by the 20th Phantom, and that the old man is returning to the scene of his original crime. The Phantom suddenly finds himself in mortal danger, but is determined to close a case started by his father all those years ago...
