The story:
Enjoying the hospitality of President Luaga In Mawitaan, the Phantom is mystified by a news report detailing an American zoologist's capture of a massive tiger from an 'uncharted isle off the African coast'.

After verifying that 'Stripes' is indeed gone from Eden, the Phantom sets off for the American zoo to find and rescue the tame tiger and somehow bring it back to Bangalla without detection...
