Considering the ruined city of Apur to be haunted by Woduro, the man-eating demon god of an abandoned cult destroyed by a Phantom ancestor, the jungle tribes avoid it studiously.

Believing the cult gone forever, the Phantom is forced to open an old case when a young boy disappears in the ruins and Woduro shows himself yet again...
