Old Man Moz is telling Rex and Tomm the fascinating story behind the Little People (see also S046 The Rattle, and S73 The Little Ones) and their various meetings with the Phantom and his ancestors, including the story behind the Phantom's falcon Fraka.

Impressed by the dramatic tales, the boys decide to camp next to Fraka's perch outside the Skull Cave, and soon a little man on a big falcon descends by Rex to ask for the Phantom. With the latter still away (see S090 The Sky Divers), it is Rex' turn to be taken on the most exciting ride of his life...
