A hunting party led by the unscrupulous Mr. Mark arrives in Bangalla with plans to kill rare animals in the jungle preserves despite firmly advised by the Jungle Patrol to stay within certain areas and not kill animals on the protected species list.

When the party is finally underway it immediately enters the restricted areas by helicopter and descends on the Bandar preserve, watched by a masked man on a white stallion, whose confusion turns to acute alarm when the hunters stumble over the most delicately balanced preserve on Earth: Eden...
