Phantom
The story:
Around the jungle campfire one evening, the Phantom is asked to tell the story behind Joomba the elephant.

The listeners, comprising of Rex, Tomm, Kateena, Joomba, Devil and Hero, are treated to a dramatic story involving jungle raiders from the kingdom of Akbar, a cruel prince, an open slave market, drug dealings on the street, barbaric animal fights, but first and foremost a tireless animal trainer's long battle to save a baby elephant from a cruel fate...

Watch out for:

  • An inhumane execution method
  • The Phantom uncharacteristically dropping his guns at a crucial moment
  • A tale that markedly differs from that given in S068 Rex King
