Diana's wealthy and influential grandfather visits the Palmers and is horrified to learn that Diana is dating a man who lives in a cave and sleeps on the floor. Determined to find Diana a much more suitable admirer, the old man asks his personnel office to make a list of hundreds of prospective admirers.

The search culminates in a Mr. Barton accompanying Mr. Palmer and his granddaughter on a hunting trip to the Rocky Mountains. Meanwhile, learning of the trip after arriving at the Palmers' residence, the Phantom rushes after Diana and straight into more action than anyone has bargained for...
