Out canoeing on the Bandar River in the Deep Woods, Diana has a nasty escape when the canoe goes over a waterfall, but more trouble lay ahead when she travels on and discovers a medieval castle in a distant valley. From the petrified locals she learns that the powerful Moogoo has the power to shrink people in his secret castle laboratory.

The Phantom soon picks up the long trail to the castle, where he sees for himself the tiny living-dead standing to attention in Moogoo's courtyard, now also including Diana! And the Phantom is next for the same treatment...
