Welcome to the world of Johnny Hazard!
At last a complete (well... growing) index site
dedicated to the daring pilot: just as fast with his fists as he was in his
plane high above the ground!
Follow Johnny Hazard’s adventures, from the very
beginning in a POW camp during the last months of WW2 to the very last story
made about the charming pilot in the late 70s.
Writer and artist, Frank Robbins, inspired by the
already famous strip Terry and the Pirates, scored a hit with his Johnny
Hazard.
Sensing that the war would soon come to an end, Robbins
perhaps deliberately put his hero in the eastern part of the world
where the conflict seemed to last a little longer.
But be aware, the adventures of Johnny Hazard are not
only about war and flying. In civil life we find him traveling around the
world, from the US to The Far East via Europe. In every country there is an
airfield for Johnny to put down his plane, and we come across many crooks as
well as war enemies.
Confused? Well, don’t be anymore, with this Index you
are now able to find out what happened in the long run, and how the first
two strips or first Sunday page of every story looked like!
