The story:
A military dictatorship at Bangalla's southern border attracts scores of jungle youths with promises of generous salaries, but suspicion grows when the money sent home to families suddenly dries up after an initial period of 'employment'.

Despite protestations to the contrary from both the youths and a U.N. commission sent to investigate the country, the Phantom realises that something is wrong and enters the rolling fields of yellow flowers...
