The story:
Getting ready to leave his American mesa after the drug smuggling caper (see S145 The Lookout), the Phantom is told by Happy Man that his archaeologist grand-daughter is missing in the remote dictatorship of Cordona.

Determined to rescue his friend's daughter, the Phantom infiltrates Cordona only to find himself caught between General Banta's mighty army and some fearsome jungle monsters...
