The story:
A Bangalla island used for experimentation with poisonous gas during World War II has claimed many innocent lives over the years, and when a canoe with Mori fishermen is washed ashore during a violent storm, the local population must once again confront the island's 'demons and monsters'.

Meanwhile, Diana Palmer's cousin Ann and her anthropologist husband obtain permission to visit the island for scientific purposes, but their helicopter crashes on arrival. The Phantom has no option but to ask Mori to take him to the island the tribe calls 'Muti', or 'Death'...
