The story:
Urgently called to the Wambesi village, the Phantom learns that a "stripy leopard" larger than a lion has attacked Wambesi's herds and made off with a fully-grown bull.

Realising that one of Bangalla's rare tigers must be roaming the area, the Phantom follows the tiger trail on foot in the company of two able Wambesi hunters. During a dramatic fight in treacherously high grass, the Phantom makes a baffling discovery...
