The story:
A valley in the Misty Mountains is perpetually enveloped by fog and studiously avoided by other jungle inhabitants. It is populated by feared amazon warriors who are looking for perfect mates in their matriarchal society.

When Queen Amaza rejects the latest addition of young slaves and sends young Tasa to find the strongest, handsomest and wisest man in the jungle, the latter gatecrashes the Jungle Olympics to survey the contestants, and elects to lure the masked man who is running the games back to the fog...
