After having said goodbye to Diana at the airport (see D136 The Wedding of the Phantom), it is time for the Phantom to attend some unfinished business: the three hoodlums who have managed to free themselves after interrupting the Phantom's and Diana's honeymoon.

The killers' trail is a week old, but the Phantom is soon closing in on the increasingly desperate bandits. His task is not made any easier by the mayhem the trio creates in its wake, including a hijacked houseboat belonging to a highland prince returning from the Deep Woods wedding entertaining an old ???friend?? of the Phantom's...
