The story:
The Phantom is rarely visited by a member of the little people (see S046 The Rattle), but a desperate Prince Vlad has broken the secrecy code agreed with a Phantom ancestor to seek emergency help: his fianc?e Melodee has been captured by "mountain giants' during a careless pleasure flight on tame doves.

Reluctant to leave the Deep Woods, but bound by the Phantom's ancient treaty with the little people, the Phantom accompanies Prince Vlad to the Highland Mountains to locate the prince that is holding Melodee and prevent him from discovering the whole truth about this delicate species...
