The story:
The Phantom has always been afraid that the magnificent Golden Sands of Keela-Wee beach with its strange jade hut (see S069 The Golden Sands of Keela-Wee) would be discovered by criminal elements eager to extract the 50% gold content in the sand and bring death and destruction in their wake.

That moment seems to have come when a luxury yacht full of gangsters is caught in a violent storm and the gang leader Rowdy washes up on the sticky shore with his fianc?e in tow...

Watch out for:

  • A sandy shoe providing a vital clue
  • Drummer felled at Keela-Wee
  • Rowdy's double-crossing outfit
