The story:

The Phantom is one of many travellers who have boarded the passenger ship The Malay in Bengali port. Another is Danglor, a cunning and resourceful criminal who has just stolen a million in cash. But the authorities know through a tip-off from a former accomplice that Danglor is travelling on the ship and ask the Captain to investigate.

Knowing that he is facing capture if he is not careful, Danglor needs a scapegoat and soon realises that the reclusive "Mr. Walker" in cabin 7 fits the bill. However, the thorough Danglor is not just interested in framing his victim; he also needs the mysterious passenger to vanish before too many questions are asked. This means cold-blooded murder...
