The story:
Conley, a young boy stuck on his parents' plantation on the jungle's edge, is bored and longs for friends to play with. His prayers are answered one day when he sneaks into the jungle, where he is not only saved from certain death by the Phantom but is also promised a secret play every day with his masked ???mister man??.

Since Conley's parents ignore the boy's talk of a ???mister man??, the Phantom is able to keep his promise as often as he can. However, real trouble is not far away when two gangsters break into the plantation to kidnap Conley's father. Time for the ???imaginary playmate?? to start playing rough...
