The story:
With the Phantom due at the Wambesi village for an important event, Diana becomes inspired by the story of a great-great aunt of the Phantom's standing in for her injured twin brother (see S032 The Female Phantom), slips into Julie's old Phantom costume and rides out of the Deep Woods.

Nearby, three gangsters are burying a chest full of gold bullion and Diana is unfortunate enough to stumble on to the scene. At first Diana is eager to have her own adventure, but what lies in wait next is sickening terror in a deadly trap with the real Phantom miles away...
