The story:
In this first full-length Phantom chronicle story ever, Diana explores the innermost nooks and crannies of the Skull Cave and finds the Phantom writing down his meeting with Drake and his gangsters (see S031 The Copter Pirates).

After further exploration Diana discovers a female Phantom suit; a perfect cue for the Phantom to locate the corresponding chronicle story from 1952, a story first narrated by our Phantom's great grandfather and detailing the twins Kip and Julie's first mission only days after young Kip has taken over from his dead father.

Watch out for:

  • Diana's first visit to the chronicle room
  • The Phantom taking the bullet in his first mission
  • Julie appearing openly as the Phantom in the Jungle Patrol HQ
